So we had an opportunity to welcome home one of our finest! Sgt R.J. Saunders! We really like welcome homes!! And this was his second tour and hopefully last, his mission is complete!

His folks are USO volunteers, as my wife Donna is, so there was a good turnout and PGR did good also, we had sixteen folks and bikes as I recall...

So off we went to stage at the Chevron by the airport!

Real great turnout! Doug Sgtmaj in front!

Folks getting a mission run brief... Doug has made special arrangements with airports for our "illegal" parking!!!! GBG

I was cracking up as we left for the airport, Doug has a GPS, out we went and made the first right, and of course, I knew that was wrong.... we gathered, made a U'ie and got back on track, it really cracked me up!! I could just see the chagrin on his face, even under the helmet!!!! GBG We all do it Doug!!!

Here I an, sweet Ruby in a crosswalk! Look at that brand new fairing!! Wooo Wooo!!!

The rest of the folks around the corner in a no parking place! GBG

Another shot of the bikes...

Here the group is "lurking" inside the terminal waiting for our returning hero!

More lurking...

Our flag line on my side...

Looking down the lines... It's interesting, there are two cordoned off areas on each way of the walkway, very narrow... when folks are coming in off their flights, they will walk in the small walk area behind our flag lines -vs- walking down our flag line...

Another pic of the well wishers!!!

Doug Sgtmaj talking Ralph, the Dad, BTW, he's a rider and will be with us in the future!!.. again, he and his wife work at the USO with my wife Donna.

Here he is walking the flag lines shaking hands, and that grin was from ear to ear, as was ours!!!!

Down the other side...

As we are to lurk.. GBG we staged in another no parking site, I love it!! and wait for the family to get out of the parking lot on the escort home..

Another shot of the bikes, gorgeous machines!!!

So we arrive at home..

Fine young man chatting with some of the riders... and we all are so diverse, from many organizations, and to a person love what we do.

I like the way the car was decorated!

My last shot... I thank the Saunders family for inviting PGR to escort their son home and hopefully for good! It's ALWAYS an honor and pleasure to participate in the warmth of a family homecoming!!!
