Title says it all, Pacifica Blue Star Moms invited us to a honorary picnic and The Balsley family asked us to stop by for a birthday celebration for their son, RIP.

ALR District 13 showed up at 564, ahem, we almost left Jake and Georgie behind, they were "tardy"!!! GBG

I hate to be in front so Jake led the way out with myself, Gary, Glen and Doug (SGTMAJ), and off we went to meet the staging folks on San Bruno Ave... YES, in San Bruno!! GBG

We met at our favorite SFO staging place, I'm guessing 10 bikes, nice turnout! Wish it could've been a 100! Spike was the RC! Thank you for that!

More bikes, had to get a pic of Goldie.. GBG

Get to Pacifica and we're heading into the picnic ground area...

Doug snuggling Diane, one of Gold Star Moms.

Had to get a pic of Jake and Georgie!!! He didn't get us lost!!! GBG

Notice how folks find the food table... Yup, guilty as charged!

Folks waiting for the food to cook...

It's cooking!!! The middle cook is Ed, we rode for his boy, good job!!!

Rich B finally showed up, he had a nose for when it was done!!

A scan of the tables, nice group.

Someone is headed back for more.

Sitting and chatting...

Alise, a great PGR supporter, PGR visited here fathers grave during Wreaths Across America. His headstone is right up by the flag pole at the top of the hill. God Bless...

http://pgralrwreathsacrossamericaggnc.blogspot.com/ I did not take pics of the honoring of the memory, didn't think it was right...

More folks having fun...

Most of our District 13 riders... Glen, Jake, Georgie, and Gary... one was hidden behind the camera... the Cranky dude!

So we left at 1300 and headed to Hayward... Spike did a good job of getting us there, OK, my definition, we made it safely!! GBG We had a couple of cages that did an outstanding support job!! Thank you!!! Yes, thank you too Bunker, our tailgunner!

They had a great turnout for their son!! God Bless 'Um!!!

Lots of folks and bikes... Lady on the left of the bike , at the front, with the white square on her shirt, is mom, God Bless you!!

Appreciating eyes... GBG

This picture is Golden!! It is of the PGR, veterans and a Man of Honor, holding his sword, he was in the hummV and got injured when Mike passed. He was hurt bad but is coming back real strong, and God Bless you!

This picture is Golden also, this is a picture of Gold Star Parents, they've all lost their own, may the Good Lord comfort you as he is your loved ones.

Last year they had a Huey Fly over, and this year also!! The Huey is owned by a private citizen, friend of Jim, this is the Huey he flew in Vietnam & has restored it.

It was a great day, and I'd like to thank our friends that invited us, as in all PGR missions it was a very distinct honor, I speak for all, that feeling of honor comes from deep in our heart! God Bless you and thanks!!
